nor am i a hippie…
I AM 21% HIPPIE!
What? Am I a Republican? Why did I even bother taken this test?! I guess I’ll back to my George W. Bush fan club and tell them I just wasted 10 minutes of my life. At least I don’t stink, man.

Imagine
a hug - so hard i feel your heartbeat
a kiss - so soft it seems a dream
such blissful things i do imagine
as thoughts of you come visit me
your ghost is always with me
you seem to never leave my head
your lovely smile i do imagine
when i must face my empty bed
i'm used to fearing many things
however […]

Yesterday, I was sitting in a bean bag chair naked, eating cheetos. And I was flipping through the television there, and I saw Robert Tilton - he's a televangelist from Dallas, and he was staring at me. And he said, “Are you lonely?”

i live in atlanta and this past thursday, i decided to visit a friend in augusta. since it’s only about 160 miles each way, and the weather channel predicted 80s/90s partly cloudy, i decided to give the GS a roadtrip trial.

there is an interesting article on NewScientist.com about language influencing thought processes.
i cannot take credit for finding the article, but nonetheless i find it fascinating. i remember discussing this idea at length in my animal behaviour/communication classes at school.

this is pretty damn morbid…
How Fast Can You Die?
When you operate a motor vehicle eternity can be less than a second. Here’s what happens with the first 7/10 of a second, when a car traveling 55 mph crashes into a solid immovable object such as a tree…
1/10 of a second- the chrome on the bumper […]

this is a very detailed writeup for installing Progressive fork springs onto (into?) a Suzuki GS500.
i did not get a chance to take pictures when i changed my springs out, so the numbers in parentheses refer to pictures in the Clymer manual (89-02) - format: (page #, pic #/letter ).

meow, i’ll be honest, silly slapstick comedies hold a special place in my heart, and super troopers is definitely that. it’s silly and naughty and yet seems sweet and innocent when compared to the gratuitous nasty trend that the recent movies seem to follow (think american pie)
Ursula (talking into voice filter): “Freeze motherfucker!”
Foster: […]

while technically this is my first post on this brand-baby-spanking-new site, i am still giving some thought to transfering my old journal into the archive here. hence, i’ve no clue which post this might become in a seemingly-endless barrage of nonsense.
i was a little anxious to release this creation into the world, so that […]
